Ages 11-18 : Mon-Thu 3-6pm | Fri 1-5pm
Ages 18-24: Mon-Thu |1-3pm

What to Expect:

Every day at Drop-In looks a little different. Youth might come in to hang out with friends, play games, or just have a place to be. Some days include group activities, creative projects, or events. Participation is always optional. Youth get to decide how they spend their time here.

Our Staff:

YR Drop-In Centers are staffed by peer mentors and Certified Peer Specialists committed to helping youth empower themselves and successfully transition into adulthood.

Our Emmett Team

Sarah K. Stone

Sarah K. Stone is the Program Director for Youth Rising’s Emmett Drop-In Center. A longtime Emmett resident since 1999 and a graduate of Emmett High School, Sarah brings nearly two decades of experience working with youth and behavioral development.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), with a background in children’s developmental health, special education, and behavior support. Sarah began her journey with Youth Rising as a Peer Advocate and was later promoted into her leadership role, reflecting her strong commitment to youth-centered, community-based support.

As a parent of three and grandparent of two, Sarah brings both professional experience and lived understanding to her work. She is also a proud member of a military family, with her husband having served in the 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team.

Sarah is passionate about helping young people build confidence, resilience, and practical life skills. She is dedicated to creating spaces where youth feel supported, valued, and empowered, and is deeply invested in the success and wellbeing of the next generation in Emmett.
