Starting Monday, June 23, Youth Rising and the Elmore County Health Coalition are offering Cooking Matters® for Teens—a free six-week cooking class series for youth ages 12-17. Classes will be held once a week on Mondays from 3:30–5:00 PM.

Teens will learn how to prepare healthy, delicious meals that are fun to make and low in cost—all while gaining valuable nutrition knowledge!

Important details:

  • Space is limited to 14 participants

  • Youth must commit to attending all six sessions

  • registration form and release from Central District Health are required

  • Forms can be picked up at Youth Rising (3–6 PM, Mon–Fri)
