Cooking Matters
Starting Monday, June 23, Youth Rising and the Elmore County Health Coalition are offering Cooking Matters® for Teens—a free six-week cooking class series for youth ages 12-17. Classes will be held once a week on Mondays from 3:30–5:00 PM.
Teens will learn how to prepare healthy, delicious meals that are fun to make and low in cost—all while gaining valuable nutrition knowledge!
Important details:
Space is limited to 14 participants
Youth must commit to attending all six sessions
A registration form and release from Central District Health are required
Forms can be picked up at Youth Rising (3–6 PM, Mon–Fri)

This Digital Literacy Workshop supports Youth as they develop skills for technology, preparing them for the working world, future career, and college.

Movie Night
Lights, camera, action! Join us for one of our favorite weekly activities: movie night!

Monster Mash: Halloween Dance
Come join us for our Halloween Dance Party with thematic music, refreshments, and games. Costumes welcome -- please refrain from any violent accessories such as knives, guns, etc. We want to promote safety, encourage socialization, and just have fun!

CLUE: A MURDER MYSTERY
Join us for an exciting game of Clue: a murder mystery game in which all participants are part of an immersive experience in which they must learn to problem solve, collaborate, and work together to solve the ultimate mystery.

Getting Gritty
Youth are able to discuss change they would like to see happen within the community. They can use their interests and passions to drive initiatives, create plans, and make change happen.

YOU ARE MORE FALL FESTIVAL
Join us at Hacker Middle School for a fall festival where we have partnered with YOU ARE MORE to bring awareness to the message: You are more than your struggles with depression and mental health.

Bingo Night
